Stuffed Peppers
Prep time: 5 min. Cook time: 60 min. Yield 4+ servings.
- 4 green peppers
- 1 lb ground beef or ground chicken or turkey
- 1/3 cup parm cheese
- 2 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/3 cup grated onions (chop in food processor)
- 1 cup bread crumbs (2 slices food processed)
- 2/3 cup minute rice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp parsley
- 2 tsp oregano
- 2 jars spagetti sauce
- cut off tops of peppers
- Mix next 10 ingredients.
- Add 1/8 cup sauce. If dry, add more sauce.
- Pack mixturer into peppers.
- Put 2 jars of sauce in large pot. Add peppers.
- Cook on med-high (8) until boiling
- Cook on low (2) for 1 hour.
- Server over rice
