Chocolate M&M Cookies

Ingredients:

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar, tightly packed
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 cup all purpose flour
3/4 cup bread flour (can substitute all purpose flour)
5/4 cups cocoa powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup plain M&Ms
1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Use an electric mixer to beat the butter until light and creamy
3. Add in sugar and brown sugar and beat until well combined
4. Add in eggs, one at a time, mixing until each is fully incorporated into batter.
5. Add in vanilla and mix.
6. In a separate bowl, combine flours, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt. Slowly add dry mixture to wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
7. Stir in m&ms and chocolate chips.
8. Scoop cookie dough onto baking sheet.
9. Bake for approximately 10-12 minutes. Cookies should be starting to firm up, but still soft in the middle.
10. Remove from oven and allow to cool on pan for at least 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
