Chocolate Chip Cookies (Toll House)
Ingredients
- 1 1/8 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 egg
- 3/8 cup sugar
- 3/8 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Directions
- Heat oven to 375.
- In medium bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt.
- In a largemixing bowl, beat butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla until creamy
- Add egg, then add flour mixture gradually
- Stir in choc. chips (and nuts if desired)
- Bake 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown.
